Are you a KOI Graduate or in your final trimester of study and looking for an accounting position?

Drake International have a client looking for a temporary accountant for an initial appointment of 6 months but with the potential for up to 12 months available for immediate commencement. The position is for 21 hours per week. The job is in Blacktown and is close to the station.

Essential criteria for this position includes: tertiary accounting qualifications and/or extensive relevant finance & accounting experience.

Other essential criteria include:

Experience with using accounting applications, preferably MYOB
Assistance in Grant Acquittals
Accounts/Bank Reconciliations
Accounts Receivable/Payable
Payroll/Tax
Superannuation
GST/BAS and FBT
Bi Monthly Financial Statements and Reports to the Board/General Manager’s Meetings
Management of Government Grant Funded Projects
Yearly Budgets
Assisting with annual Audit Process
Local Government experience is desirable, but not essential.

Just letting you know that our current special tuition fee of $4500 (UG)/$5500 (PG) per trimester, for ALL onshore students and offshore assessment level 1 & 2 countries for 0115 & 0215 enrolment, which ends on Friday 27 Feb has been extended till Friday 27 March 2015.

I would like to inform you of our course, Master of Arts (TESOL).

Tuition fees for 2015 intakes:

Graduate Certificate in TESOL: $ 6,500 for the course. - Duration: 6 months, 4 subjects
Graduate Diploma in TESOL: $ 6,500 per trimester, $13,000 for the course
Duration: 12 months, 8 subjects
Master of Arts (TESOL): $ 6,500 per trimester, $19,500 for the course
Duration: 18 months, 12 subjects

DOCUMENTS CHECKLIST (as of April 2015)
Documents to provide if you are applying from OFFSHORE (i.e. outside of Australia):

1. KOI student application form with all fields accurately completed.
A blank KOI student application form will be provided upon request.

2. A certified, notarised or attested copy of proof of English.
Please see the table in the section named “Minimum English requirements” for more information on which internationally recognised English Language Tests will meet KOI’s entry requirements.

3. A certified, notarised or attested copy of your passport.
You must provide the pages of your passport that show your photographic ID and your signature. Some passports, for instance Pakistani passports, show your signature on a separate page from your photographic ID. Please ensure you send copies of both pages.

4. Certified, notarised or attested copies of all your academic documents.
This includes the official academic transcripts (i.e. mark sheet) and completion certificates for your academic achievements.

5. A certified, notarised or attested copy of change of name documents (if applicable).
If the name displayed on your academic documents is different from that which is shown in your passport, please provide official documentation that shows when and why your name was changed (e.g. Marriage Certificate).
Documents to provide if you are applying from ONSHORE (i.e. in Australia):

1. KOI student application form with all fields accurately completed.
A blank KOI student application form will be provided upon request. Alternatively, you can come to KOI’s Market Street campus and pick up a hard copy from the KOI Reception desk.

2. A certified, notarised or attested copy of proof of English.
Please see the table in the section named “Minimum English requirements” for more information on which internationally recognised English Language Tests will meet KOI’s entry requirements.

3. A copy of your current and valid Visa Grant Letter or VEVO check (if applicable).
If you have lost your Visa Grant Letter, you can check your visa status online at http://www.immi.gov.au/Services/Pages/v ... rview.aspx.

4. Certified, notarised or attested copies of all your academic documents.
This includes, and is not limited to, your academic transcripts and completion certificates for your onshore AND offshore studies.
NB: If you are on a TU/572 or TU/573 visa, please ensure you provide any and all documents that show there is no gap longer than 3 months between your periods of study.

5. A copy of your current Electronic Confirmation of Enrolment, or eCoE (if applicable).
If you are studying with another provider at the time you make your application, please provide a copy of the eCoE which your institution issued to you.

6. A certified, notarised or attested copy of your passport.
You must provide the pages of your passport that show your photographic ID and your signature. Some passports, for instance Pakistani passports, show your signature on a separate page from your photographic ID. Please ensure you send copies of both pages.

Dear Student,
Thank you for accepting your place to study with King’s Own Institute (KOI). As enrollment is fast approaching, we would like
to invite you to enrol in your course for the upcoming July Trimester.
The key enrolment dates for Trimester 2 (July), 2015 are:
First Day of Enrolment 29 June 2015
Postgraduate Orientation Day 08 July 2015 at 2pm
Undergraduate Orientation Day 09 July 2015 at 2 pm
Trimester 1 Commences 13 July 2015
Last Day of Enrolment 24 July 2015
Census Date 03 August 2015
It is compulsory that you attend the KOI orientation program, so please take note of the orientation dates above and attend
on the correct day.
As a new student, it is important that you enrol before the Trimester start date, 13 July 2015. The enrolment process
includes meeting the conditions on your offer letter, choosing subjects, finalising payment, organising and receiving your
timetable, and obtaining your student ID card.
Before you start enrolling
KOI wishes to minimise the time you spend on the enrolment, therefore it is compulsory that you bring the following
documents with you when you come to enrol:
• Your current passport and visa details
• A copy of your KOI eCoE
• Your original copy of your English Certificate (e.g. IELTS, PET, CAE, etc.)
• Original/certified copies of transcripts and completion certificates and any other academic qualifications you have
completed
Students who do not provide the above documents will not be able to commence the enrolment process, so please make
sure you have everything you need before you come to enrol.
It is also important to remember that all new students are required to enrol in a total of four subjects for their first
Trimester. If you would like to check on what days your subjects will be running before you commit, you will be able to come
to Level 1, 31 Market Street, Sydney to check the timetables on display. For more information, please speak to our Reception
Desk when you arrive.
Settling your fees
As part of the enrolment process you are also required to meet the financial commitments of your study and pay your
tuition fees in full. Fee agreements/Fee payment plans are not available to students. If you are unable to pay, we are unable
to enrol you. For students who pay through their agents, receipts from agents will not be accepted as valid proof of payment.
As a student, you must contact your agent first and confirm that your tuition fee has been paid to KOI. Once KOI has
received sufficient proof that your funds have been transferred to our account, you will be able to proceed with your
enrolment.

Timetables, Recognition of Prior Learning and Deferment requests
Once you have settled your fees, you are then able to move on to organise your timetable with one of our enrolment staff.
Make sure you are happy with your timetable, as once it is finalised no further changes may be made.
All requests for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) or exemptions must be made prior to completing your enrolment. Any
RPL requests received during the enrolment period will be assessed within 2 – 4 business days.
If you would like to get your RPLs reassessed, please be aware this service attracts a $100 fee which you must first settle
before your application can be submitted. If the duration of your studies is reduced due to receiving additional RPLs, you are
required to revise your eCoE, which will attract a further $200 administrative fee.
If you would like to defer your studies, you must first submit your request in writing. Please be aware deferment requests
can only be approved with the provision of exceptional circumstances. Any deferment of your study will attract a $200
administrative fee and any outstanding fees will need to be settled before your revised eCoE can be issued.
If you are requesting to defer your studies due to a delay in your visa process, you will need to provide the Request Letter
from your DIBP Case Officer. In this case, your revised eCoE will not attract the $200 administrative fee.
Semester based Trimester system
KOI operates on a semester based, trimester system. It is compulsory for students to complete two consecutive trimesters
in their first year of study. After two consecutive trimesters of study, students may apply to take trimester breaks. Approval
of a trimester break will depend upon academic progress.
